 Alfred W. Garcia, Sr., age 81, of Poteet, Texas, passed away Monday, February  1, 2010, in Jourdanton, Texas.  He is survived by his wife Mary Jane (Martinez) Garcia; daughters,
Linda Ruiz & Alfred Casas of San Antonio, Virginia Garcia & Patty Sandoval of San Antonio, Mary Lou Stephens of Poteet, Josephina Garcia McCann of Pleasanton; sons, Fred Garcia, Jr. & wife Adela of Poteet, Larkin Joseph Garcia & Angie Arce of San Antonio, Alfred Garcia, Jr. & wife Linda of Poteet, and Larry Garcia & wife Esmeralda of Poteet, as well as thirty grandchildren, forty-three great-grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.  Mr. Garcia is preceded in death by his parents Catarinio & Luz Garcia and daughter, Shirley Lou Reyna.       
Visitation is being held at Hosanna Baptist Tabernacle in Leming from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a 7PM prayer service on Sunday, February 7, 2010.  Funeral service will be at Hosanna Baptist Tabernacle Church at 10:00 AM Monday, February  8, 2010.  Interment will be at First Memorial Park in Von Ormy.  Anyone wishing to leave their condolences may do so at www.hurleyfuneralhome.com
