JOSE JESUS FUENTES, age 81, of Pearsall passed away Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010 at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his parents:  Jose M. & Marcelina Fuentes, and by his wife Maria DeLa Luz Fuentes.

He is survived by his children: Avelino Fuentes of Devine, Furman Fuentes of Pearsall, Segundo Fuentes of Pearsall, Joe Fuentes of Pearsall, Lupe Alvarado of Saginaw, MI, Juana Fuentes of San Antonio, Sonia Martinez of Pearsall, Amalia Fuentes of Pearsall, brothers: Paulo Fuentes of Dimmit, Felix Fuentes of Lockhart, Pedro Fuentes of Dimmit, sisters: Niela Fuentes of Dimmit, Rafaela Fuentes of Dimmit, 19 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2010 from 2PM until 8:30PM, with a prayer service held at 7PM at the Hurley Funeral Home in Pearsall. Funeral services will be conducted at 10AM Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010 in the Chapel of the Hurley Funeral Home, with interment to follow in Pearsall Cemetery.
