Kenward D. “K.D.” Grand, age 70 of Pearsall, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2010 in San Antonio. He was a life member of Claudio Gonzales Post #9195, VFW, and a Veteran of the Viet Nam Conflict.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Grand of Pearsall; his mother, Mary C. Grand of Dallas; one son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Veronica Grand of Hutto; one daughter, Kenda Deal of Austin; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his father, Sylvester Grand, and one son, Kel Grand.

For those desiring to honor his life with memorials, the family has suggested they be given to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or to the Paralyzed Veterans of America in his memory.
