Gabriel Saldivar Del Toro
July 21, 1941 - March 7, 2010
GABRIEL S. DEL TORO, age 68 from Ingram, Texas passed away in his home on March 7, 2010 after a short illness. Gabriel was employed at Peterson Regional Medical Center in Kerrville, Texas. Before moving to Kerrville, Gabriel was a cross-country truck-driver and owner of several restaurants. Gabriel was also a devoted volunteer for Any Baby Can of the Texas Hill Country and a friend to all he met. He was a loving husband, great friend, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him will miss him.
He was born on July 21, 1941 in Derby, Texas to Catalina and Indalecio Del Toro. He leaves behind his beloved wife Blanca Alicia Del Toro and his children Isaac Del Toro, Catalina Del Toro and Sarah Gonzalez. He also leaves behind three granddaughters, three grandsons and many nieces and nephews.
The family requests that memorial donations may be made to Any Baby Can of the Texas Hill Country located at 624 Earl Garrett Street, Kerrville, TX 78028.
Funeral services will be held at 2PM Tuesday, March 9, 2010 in the Chapel of the Hurley Funeral Home in Pearsall. Services will conclude at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be: Chuck Del Toro, Mark Del Toro, KPD Officer Paul Gonzalez, Humberto Gonzalez, Jr., Miguel Gonzalez and Indalecio Del Toro, Jr.
