It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Abel Quinonez.  He passed on Thursday, August 21, 2025 in San Antonio to Adrian Rene Quinonez and Eliza Lizet Hernandez.

He is survived by his parents; great grandparents, Maria Lourdes Rodriguez, Monica Gonzalez, Henry Perez and Raymond Quinonez (Sylvia); grandparents, Jose Emilio De La Rosa Jr. (Yvonne), Frank Franco (Smitty) and Sylvester Quinonez (Amanda); aunts, Evette De La Rosa, Emma Quinonez and Bianca Salazar; uncles, Ivan De La Rosa, Dustin Franco, Zachery Franco, Joe Alex Quinonez, Sylvestre Quinonez and Shane Garcia, Jr.; along with numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and extended family members.

Abel was preceded by his maternal great-grandpa's, Jose Emilo De La Rosa, Sr. and Marcelino Rodriguez; paternal great-grandpa's, Julian Gonzalez (JC) and Francisco Franco, Sr., and great aunt Sandy Garcia and husband, Ted Garcia.

Services are scheduled for Friday, August 29, 2025 at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church, starting with a rosary at 9:30 am with a mass at 10:00 am followed by burial at Madre Dolorosa #2.
