Adela G. Bazan of Pleasanton passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2026. She was born in Jourdanton to Pete and Rosa (Romero) Garcia, on Friday, September 22, 1939.

Adela had a strong work ethic, but she also loved socializing with family and friends.

She is survived by her son, Edward Bazan and Nicole Pool; daughter Melissa Bazan; and sister, Mary Helen Allega. Adela is also survived by her grandchildren, Brooklyn Gonzales and Zachary Criado; and great grandson, Isaiah Xavier Paredez.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Bazan; son, Charles "Charlie" Bazan; and grandson, Charles Bazan. Adela was also preceded by her siblings.

Visitation and services will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026, with visitation to be held at Hurley Funeral Home, at 10:00 am,  followed by the reciting of the rosary at 12:00 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Andrew Catholic Church, at 1:00 pm, and interment in San Ysidro Cemetery to follow.
