Obituary

Adrian Sam Sambrano, Sr. was born October 12, 1970 in Rockford, Illinois, and made his way into the kingdom of heaven to join his family December 16, 2022. Adrian was raised in Charlotte, Texas by his mother Isabel Garcia Duran.

He graduated from Charlotte High School, and shortly after joined the Marine Corp. Adrian was also beginning his family with his high school love and created five beautiful children.

Adrian made many friends everywhere he stepped foot and could sure light up the room. Adrian made sure to leave a good laugh and good impression. He loved to help his community, and in good faith helped with the church.

He was a resident of Charlotte, Texas for majority of his life, hunting fishing and barbecuing were Adrian's favorite pastimes. He enjoyed kicking up his feet with a good drink and enjoying the views. When he could, he was always on the lookout for the next chili pequin or arrowhead.

Adrian recently found his Marine brothers and sisters and went on many adventures; he was so happy to be back together. Catching up on old times and making new memories.

Adrian was a strong, brave, daring and a very hardworking man and he continued to be so until his last breath.

He is survived by his children, Jazmine M. Valdez and husband Jose, Gabriella Sambrano, Adrian S. Sambrano, Jr., Sergio J. Sambrano, and Israel J. Sambrano; life partner, Stacie Deleon; mother, Isabel Garcia Duran; father, Audon Sambrano, Jr.; brothers, Samuel J. Sambrano and wife Felicity, Ignacio Duran, Edward Sambrano; sister, Rebecca Balzadua and husband, Richard; aunt, Gloria Lombrano, and uncles, Mingo Garcia and Nico Garcia. He is also survived by six nieces, six nephews and many cousins.

Adrian is preceded in death by his grandmother and grandfather, Trinidad and Justo Garcia; grandfather, Audon Sambrano, Sr.; aunt, Natie Udrialez, and uncles, Reynaldo Garcia (Choppy), Pito Garcia, and Jimmy Garcia.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 26, 2022, at Hurley Funeral Home, 118 W. Oaklawn Road in Pleasanton from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at St. Rose of Lima in Charlotte, 373 Madero in Charlotte at 10:00 am. Services will conclude at the church. Private interment will be held at a later date.
