In Loving Memory of Alaina Renee Sauceda

Alaina R. Sauceda was born on March 12, 1988 in Bryan, Texas. She was a beloved mother, daughter, wife, sister, granddaughter, niece, aunt, cousin, and friend. It is with deep sorrow that we announce her peaceful passing on April 3, 2024 at the age of 36, in Floresville, Texas.

Renee's pride and joy were her babies, Aiden Ryan and Emma Dianne. She lived for them, always making sure they had everything they needed, and going above-and-beyond for them. She loved going to Aiden's football and baseball games, watching Emma cheer, and swimming with them in the back yard on hot summer days. They were the light of her whole world.

Her loving and caring character extended to the rest of her family and friends. She loved being active, going out to the ranch with family and friends, spending a day on the Frio River, or hunting with friends, but most of all she loved her sweet tea, and all things spicy. She was just as happy to spend a lazy night at home watching movies, Grey's Anatomy or Gilmore Girls (one of hers and Emmas favorite shows.) She is going to be remembered for her beautiful smile, contagious laugh, smart sense of humor, and warm embraces. She had a heart of gold, and wouldn't hesitate to help out anyone in need.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Alexander P. Rodriguez, great-aunt, Ofelia R. Enriquez, uncle, Roger Rodriguez, and her unborn child.

Renee is survived by her husband, John David Sauceda, son, Aiden Ryan Sauceda, and daughter Emma Dianne Sauceda. Also survived by her beloved mother, Lucy Rodriguez, and father, Canuto Reyna, siblings, Alfredo Chico Pruitt and wife (Monica), Pamela Gutierrez, Herardo Gutierrez Jr., Jeremy Gutierrez, and Rhonda Gutierrez, grandmother, Marylou Rodriguez, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pallbearers are as follows: Alfredo Pruitt, Herardo Gutierrez Jr., Geoffrey Uballe, Ricardo Viesca Jr., Daniel Ray Gonzalez, Jason Sauceda, Ricardo Viesca Sr. and Jason Casey.

Services for Alaina are scheduled for Wednesday, April 10, 2024 in the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel in Pleasanton starting with a visitation from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the reciting of the rosary at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be Thursday, April 11, 2024 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Pleasanton starting at 10:00 am followed by the burial at the Chilipitin Cemetery, located off FM 140 on CR 315 W.
