Albert Samuel Stewart of Christine passed away Sunday, April 9, 2023, at the age of 39.  He was born in Jourdanton on January 30, 1984, to Louis Stewart and Ofelia Delgado.

Albert loved hunting and fishing and above all else spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews and Andrew Gonzales "Bull".

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Virginia and Angel Delgado and Pat and Emma Chandler; great-grandparents, Isabel and Felix Delgado; nephew, James Brady, and cousins, Bobbie Jo Gonzales and Miguel Gonzales.

Albert is survived by his loving parents, Louis and Ofelia; son, Tyler Jay Stewart; sisters, Tabatha Stewart (Oscar), Heather Lopez (Anthony) and Niza Stewart; nieces and nephews, Jerry Brady, Isaiah Bosquez, Guadalupe "Gigi" Bosquez, DeAndre Lopez and Cierra Sigel (Bevon).  He is also survived by his aunts and uncles, Tina Gonzales, Nora Delgado, Sylvia Bautista (Eloy), Diana Floyd (Owen), Angelita Gonzales (Bobby), Joe Delgado (Lois), Norma Alvarado (Jesse), Barbara McCarroll (Bobby), Melinda Alaniz (Paul), Adam Delgado (Carol), Josie Delgado, Joseph Delgado (Diana), Scott Kerry, Kevin Kerry (Tiffany) and Gina Salge (Steve), and numerous cousins.

Visitation will be conducted at Hurley Funeral Home in Pleasanton on Friday, April 14, 2023, beginning at 9:00 am, a rosary will be recited at 12:00 pm.  Funeral mass will be at 2:00 pm at the St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Christine.  Interment to follow at Bautista Cemetery.
