Alfred Diaz,
Jr.
Mar 13, 1955 — Mar 30, 2025
Alfredo Diaz, Jr. passed away peacefully, surrounded by his beloved wife, children and grandchildren on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at the age of 70. He was born on March 14, 1955, in Pleasanton to Eulalia (Piedra) and Alfredo Diaz, Sr.
Alfredo was a beloved father, brother, uncle, and friend who touched the lives of so many. He served three years in the United States Army, exemplifying his commitment to family and country. He was a hardworking man, dedicated to providing for his family through various jobs, including working as a dairyman, a pipeliner, and in oilfield services, where he found joy and purpose.
He loved spending quality time with his family, especially on summer camping trips to the river, where they created cherished memories that will last a lifetime. His many hobbies – hunting, fishing, arrowhead hunting, and playing softball – were passions he eagerly shared with his children, teaching them the skills and joys of the great outdoors.
Alfredo was known for his culinary talents, making delicious deer jerky and his famous menudo for his sisters, which brought everyone together in laughter and love.
Alfredo is survived by his wife, Cecilia Deleon Diaz; daughter, Melody Diaz, and her two sons, Mark Anthony Torres and wife, Olivia Torres and Nathan Phillip Aguillon; son, Adam Diaz, and wife Brenda Diaz and their three children, Cayden Adam Diaz, Madisson Riley Diaz and Samantha Avery Diaz; brothers, Ricky Diaz, Lupe Diaz, and Gabrial Diaz and wife, Sonia; and sisters, Adelfa Ramirez and husband Lorenzo, Martha Morrell and husband Fairl, Beatriz Ramirez and husband Roger, Stella Diaz and Mary Diaz.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfredo Diaz, Sr. and Eulalia Diaz and his beloved brother, Eulalio Diaz.
