Angelita Pacheco Zamarripa, age 87, was born on May 31, 1938, in Christine, Texas.  She died on Wednesday, December 4, 2025, in Pleasanton.

Angelita was a founding member of the Starlite Social Club and worked as a mama Patrol at the Pleasanton Elementary School for years just to be around her kids. Later, she and her husband opened up Johnny's Paint and Body Shop which they operated for 60 years and were very successful.

Everyone who knew Angelita, knew she loved her animals, especially her cats, and she was an amazing cook, making the best enchiladas and the best sweet tea.

Angelita was preceded in death by her son, Edward Zamarripa.

She is survived by her son, Henry Zamarripa (Sylvia) of Jourdanton; sisters, Cecilia Aguilar (Miguel) of San Antonio, and Gregoria Casanova of Jourdanton; brother, Eusebio Pacheco (Estella) of Christine; caregiver/son, Ben Crisp; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

As per her request, no funeral services are scheduled.
