It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Anthony John Luebano, a free spirit and devoted son. Born on May 6, 1994, in Yuma, AZ, Anthony tragically left this world on July 27, 2024. Anthony grew up in Poteet, TX, where his warm heart and infectious laughter touched the lives of many.

A talented musician; lover of music, motorcycles, and fast cars, Anthony found joy in the simple things in life. His charismatic personality and unwavering love for his family defined him. He was a 2012 graduate of Poteet High School and held the title of a bright soul and jokester with an irresistibly silly laugh.

Anthony's love knew no bounds; he was affectionate and always made sure to express his love to others, whether through texts, phone calls, or big, warm hugs in person. An animal lover at heart, he cherished all creatures, big and small, showing compassion even to insects. He would often pull to the side of the road to help an animal in distress or even just to carry a turtle to the side of the road so that it would not get hit by a vehicle.

Survived by his mother, Carolyn Baldwin, father, John Luebano and stepmother, Rosario; brother Austin Luebano; step-brother Roman Oropeza, and step-sister Desire Oropeza-Guerra. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Charlotte Lozano, Richard Baldwin, and Raul Garcia Anthony's memory will forever be cherished by those who knew him best. His presence in their lives was a light that will never dim.

The Celebration of Life ceremonies to honor Anthony's life will be held on August 10, 2024 at the Pleasanton Lions Club Pavillion, located at 114 Wyoming Blvd. Pleasanton, Texas 78064. Friends and family are invited to join together from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm to celebrate his memory and share stories of the joy and love he brought to all our lives. Rest in peace, Anthony John Luebano – your spirit will live on in our hearts forever.
