Antonio "Tony" Arizola Cantu 74, passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2021, in San Antonio.  He was born in Luckenbach, Texas on November 28, 1946, to Pablo and Patricina (Arizola) Cantu.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Janie P. Cantu, brother Octavanio Cantu, sister Senaida Peralta and granddaughter Raquel Villa.

He is survived by his sons Tony Cantu Jr. and wife Leesa, Lucas Cantu and Robert Cantu; daughters Jo Nell Cantu Salinas and husband Guillermo, Maribel Lozoya and husband Roberto and Laura Arrellano and husband Juan; brothers Johnny Cantu and wife Mary Ann, Pete Cantu and wife Martina, Alex Cantu, and wife Elida; sisters Modesta De La Rosa and husband Pedro, Diana Garcia and husband Rudy and Christina Ruiz and husband Victor.  He is also survived by his grandchildren Gina Castro, Rebecca Zavala, Robin Valdez, Wendy Valdez, Anthony Valdez, Destiny Valdez, Kelly Martinez, Jordy Villa, Desmond Cantu, Ryan Cantu, Desiree Cantu, and Joseph Avila along with 15 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 17, 2021, at Hurley Funeral Home in Pleasanton from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm.  Funeral services will be Friday, June 18, 2021, at 10:00 am at the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow at the Pleasanton City Cemetery.
