Averi Lanae
Martinez
Sep 27, 2026 — Sep 27, 2026
Poteet
: am Our precious little angel, Averi Lanae Martinez, was born into this world and received into the loving arms of God on Sunday, September 27, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas.
Averi was the beloved daughter of Jose Magdel eno Martinez and Marissa Ann Martinez. Though her time on earth was only a moment, the love she brought into this world will last a lifetime. Her tiny footprints have left an everlasting impression on the hearts of those who love her.
Averi is Survived by: her loving siblings, Aleeah Neveah, Jayden King, Marcos Anthony, and Josiah Rey; her maternal grandparents, Gloria and Antonio Martinez; her maternal great-grandparents, Mary Ann and Francisco Lozano. And her grandfather, Richard Hernandez; and was also eagerly awaited by a large extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins who were so excited to meet her, hold her, and shower her with love.
Preceded in death by: her maternal aunt, Toni Isabel Martinez; her maternal great-grandparents, Julia and Ruben Lopez; her paternal grandmother, Maria Elisa Martinez; and her great-grandmother, Sixta Hernandez.
Though our arms are empty, our souls are forever full of the light you brought with you. You were loved before you were born, cherished in your brief moment here, and will be longed for until our very last breath.
Some angels are meant to teach us the infinite depth of love without ever speaking a single word. Though we must spend the rest of our lives missing you, we will spend every day carrying your light. You are our softest memory, our forever promise, and our sweetest hope for Heaven.
Rest gently in God’s arms, sweet Averi. Until the day we can finally hold you again and never let go, you will live forever as the precious beat of our hearts—loved past the edge of forever.
