It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Barbara Ann MacKinley, aged 73, on January 27, 2026. Born on January 4, 1953, in New York, Barbara resided in Leming, Texas, where she cultivated a legacy filled with love and passion.

Barbara was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, cherished for her spirited personality and the fierce love she had for her family. She leaves behind her loving mother, Barbara Josephs; her son, Garrett Turner (Melanie); her daughter, Samantha Malik (Johnathan); her grandchildren Sierra Hyde, Tristan Malik and Eva Turner; as well as a sister Christine Miller.

Barbara's life was filled with the joys of her beloved dogs and horses, and her enthusiasm for all things Star Wars was a testament to her vibrant spirit. After dedicating over 20 years to her role as a Trust Administrator with USAA, Barbara retired and embraced the joys of life outside the workplace.

In this time of sorrow, we remember and celebrate the joyful moments shared with Barbara, a remarkable woman whose legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those she loved.

Barbara is preceded in death by her father John Josephs, and her beloved husband Adam MacKinley.

Services are scheduled for Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at 24/7 Church located at 5415 N Loop 1604 E, San Antonio, Texas 78247, starting at 10:00 am.
