Barbara J. Sanford, went to be with the Lord, on April 29, 2022, at the age of 83.

Barbara was born on December 16, 1938, in Austin, Texas to Jesse B. and Birdie Mae Jones.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jesse B., Kenneth and Edgar Jones.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Joe W. Sanford; sons, Joseph William Sanford III (Bec) and Robert James Sanford (Judy); daughters, Valerie Dawn Ricketts and Pamela Gail Wiegand (Rich); grandchildren, Andrea (Barry), Joey (Nicole), Stefanie, Scott (Marissa), Brandi, Jessica, Halie (Evan), Birdie (Michael), Zach (Claire) and Bobby; 15 great-grandchildren; and her beloved cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 6, 2022 from 10:00am - 11:00am at Somerset United Methodist Church, 8175 7th St., Somerset, Tx., 78069.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 6, 2022 at 11:00 am at Somerset United Methodist Church.

Burial will follow at Bexar Cemetery in Somerset, Texas.
