Billie Joyce Koog, of Pleasanton passed away surrounded by her family on Saturday, January 11, 2025. She was born in Del Rio, on Friday, January 19, 1934, to William F. and Thelma (Jones) Rodgers.

Billie enjoyed visiting with family and friends. Few people left her home without her serving them her sweet tea or her offering them food. She loved her family dearly and was a very giving person. In her spare time, she would crochet gifts for family and friends, especially baby blankets. Billie liked making crafts, hunting for arrowheads, playing marbles and Phase 10. She kept a book of in-depth records of her family birthdays. Marvin and Billie spent time together feeding and caring for their cows. Family meant everything to her.

Billie is survived by her daughter, Joyce Hall and husband Patrick; grandchildren, Keith Riley and wife Shelly, Stephanie Vick and husband Dorman, Patrick J. Hall, and Alaina Parish and husband Jason, and great-grandchildren, Bailey Riley, Kase Riley, Cade Vick, Colter Vick, and Carter Gordon. She is also survived by her great-great grandchild, Dravyn Gordon; sisters, Kathy Ritchie, and Linda Price, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Billie was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Lee Koog, daughter, Barbara Riley, nine siblings, and her parents.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025, at Hurley Funeral Home, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Cowboy Fellowship starting at 10:00 am, with interment to follow in Pleasanton City Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers are her grandsons, and great grandsons, Keith Riley, Patrick J. Hall, Carter Gordon, Kase Riley, Cade Vick, and Colter Vick.
