On February 24, 2024, at the age of 72 our beloved mother Blanca Estella Martinez of Campbellton, went to be with our Lord in Heaven.

Born in Ray Point, Texas, Blanca attended grade school in Three Rivers and graduated high school in Pleasanton.

Blanca was a dedicated and devoted mother who enjoyed spending as much time as she could with her children, grandchildren, and family members. She enjoyed listening to Tejano and Conjunto music while cooking and cleaning, and also enjoyed keeping her yard looking beautiful. Blanca always had her doors open for family and friends, offering a place to stay, a shoulder to cry on or a listening ear whenever needed. Although Blanca is no longer with us, her sweet smile, and loving motherly care, will continue to inspire us all to live our lives with love, compassion, and selflessness. We will always cherish the moments and memories we had with her forever. Gone today but never forgotten. We love you so much. May you rest in Heavenly peace.

Blanca was preceded in death by her parents, Jacinto and Cleotilde Martinez and siblings, Eugene Martinez, Francisco Martinez, Jay Martinez, Roy Martinez, Reynaldo Martinez, Martin Martinez, Eva Martinez Canals, Yolanda Martinez Cruz, Ofelia Martinez, Elia Martinez Pena, Andrea Martinez Alvarez, Rosa Martinez Medrano, and Estella Martinez Ramirez.

She is survived by her children, Roel Martinez Marez (Christina Benavides, Mikey Lamaria) April Martinez (Oscar Castillio) Juan Martinez Montelongo, Hector Martinez Valdez (Audrey Valdez). Grandchildren, Sophia Valdez, and Cora Valdez. Brother and sister Dora Martinez Torres, David Martinez and nephew whom she always referred to as a brother Joe Loza.

In the celebration of Blanca's life. A visitation will be held on March 8th, 2024, from 3pm-9pm and on March 9th, 2024, at 10am a rosary will be recited at Hurley Funeral home in Pleasanton. Interment to follow in Campbellton, at the Campbellton Cemetery.
