BOBBY DON STACY

Bobby Don Stacy, passed away at his home in Jourdanton, Texas on May 8, 2024, at the age of 84.  Bobby was born on March 2, 1940, in San Antonio, Texas, to Robert Dee and Ila Mae (Hight) Stacy.

Bobby will be fondly remembered for his selfless dedication to serving his community.  From cooking meals for neighbors and friends, to offering transportation to doctor appointments or around town and serving as a member of the Jourdanton Senior Housing board, Bobby's generosity and sense of community knew no bounds.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Dee and Ila Mae (Hight) Stacy, brothers, Ronald Stacy and Kenneth Stacy.

Bobby is survived by his sons, Gary Don Stacy (wife Beth), and Jerry Wayne Stacy (wife Jacqueline), several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and countless friends.

A memorial service to celebrate Bobby's life will be held on Friday May 17, 2024, at Hurley Funeral Home in Pleasanton, Texas at 11 a.m.

Though Bobby may no longer be with us, his legacy of kindness and compassion will continue to inspire us all.  May he rest in peace.
