Bruce Wayne Parsons (July 3, 1946 –February 4, 2024)

Bruce Wayne Parsons passed away in San Antonio on Sunday, February 4, 2024.  He was born in Oklahoma in 1946 to Fred and Mildred Parsons. He attended high school in Las Vegas, Nevada. After high school, he joined the military and spent a decade in the U.S. Navy. After serving his country he returned home to Texas and continued serving his community as a law enforcement officer for more than 30 years.

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, and survived by his loving wife, Sandra Parsons, brother-in-law, Kevin and his son Ryan, two grandsons, Bruce (Monica) and Paul (Naomi), and three great-grandsons, Caleb, Camden, and Carter.

His family and all those who knew him will hold tight to the examples of how he lived his life… love for family, friends, community, generosity, and hard work. He will be missed by many.

A graveside service is scheduled for Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at 9:30 am at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
