Carmen Teresa Bautista of Poteet, Texas went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 25, 2022 at the age of 95 with her family by her side.  She was born Wednesday, October 06, 1926 in Christine, Texas to Jose Angel and Carmen (Robles) Bautista.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Carmen Bautista; brothers, Juan Bautista and wife Janie Bautista, Jose Angel (Chito) Bautista Jr. and wife Rafaela Bautista and Santos Bautista and sisters, Lupe Casillas and husband Frank Casillas, Angelita Quinonez and husband Manuel Quinonez, Jr., Rita Jenks and Alcaria Montelongo and husband Guadalupe Montelongo, and nephew, Kenneth McKenzie Buscher.

Carmen (Tita) is survived by her nephew Manuel Quinonez III and wife Rosa Quinonez, nieces, Teresa Jane Quinonez, Maria Buscher and husband Roy Easler; grand nephews and nieces, Thomas "Mike" Buscher, Rose Gonzalez (Robert), Natasha Cruz (Rudy), Desiree Routh, Angie Carmona (Joe), Dominque Quinonez, Lucian Quinonez, Rylee Buscher, Albert Quinonez (Allison), Lani Denise Quinonez, Samantha Ashley Quinonez; 10 great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews with 1 on the way and numerous extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Christine on Friday, May 6, 2022 starting at 9:00 AM, with a rosary to be recited at 10:30 AM followed by a mass to be celebrated at 11:00 AM. Followed by interment in Bautista Cemetery in Christine, Texas.
