Carol Anne Mason was born to James Ronald (JR) and Shirley Mason on January 18, 1966, in San Antonio, and left her worldly body on January 2, 2025, after valiantly fighting cancer for 2 1/2 years. She was a daughter, sister, Aunt Carol, Aunt Bunny,  friend, and co-worker. She was a very loving, giving, caring, compassionate, beautiful soul whose love was felt by all who knew her. Family was everything to Carol.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Tom and Marjorie Otterpohl; her mother, Shirley Ann Mason; her uncle, Tom Otterpohl; and cousin, Tanaya Otterpohl.

She is survived by her father, James Ronald (JR) Mason; sisters, Debbie Mason, Kathy (Joey) Riggs, Janet (Gilbert) Tovar, and William (Keena) Mason; nieces, Amber (Jason) McInturff, Brooke (Jose) Mancera, Courtney (Leslie) Mason, Jenna (Chad) Christesson, Tanaya (Morgan) McNair, Jennifer (Alex) Roberson, Jessica Tovar, and  Cynthia Tovar; nephews, Shane (Mayve) Mishler, Stephen (Melissa) Pickett,  Marshall (Bianca) Pickett, Kyle (Andrea)  Pickett, Dallas (Jessica) Pickett, Brennan Pickett, Brandon (Shoshanna)Tovar, Justin Conger, Jack Riggs, Tyler Young, Cody Young,  PJ (Kami) Tovar, and Logan Gomez; great-nieces, Avery Warren Aleeza Mishler, Kailee Pickett, Kynzlee Pickett, Brisais Pickett, Brielle Pickett, Evee Mancera, Aubrey Mancera, Hazeley Mcnair, Kennedi Pickett, Kylee Christesson, and Paisley Pickett; great-nephews, Erik DeAnda (Maya) Isiah Coronado (Jacelynn), Mathew Pickett, Noah Pickett, Jose Mancera, Barrett Christesson, Colt Christesson,  Killian Pickett and Carter McInturff; aunts, Arlene (Ted) Sellars, Shonah Stephens, and Susan Otterpohl; cousins, Jeff Sellars, Brad Sellars, Gwynne Sharman, Marcy Otterpohl and Dylan (Jennifer) Otterpohl and her newly found cousins in Colorado. She is also survived by extended family, work family, and many friends.

A CELEBRATION OF LIFE  will be held at the Pleasanton Lions Club, located at 114 Wyoming, Pleasanton Texas, 78064 at 1:00 pm on January 18, 2025.
