Celeste Owen Robledo, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, passed away on August 23, 2023, at the age of 68. She was born on June 10, 1955, in Austin, Texas, to her late parents, George Owen and Grace Crofford. Celeste spent most of her life living in Harlingen. In recent years she had moved to Jourdanton to be closer to her family.

She is preceded in death by her son, Blair Owen, sister, Kim Price, brother, Matthew Owen, and sister, Lorna Senkbeil; and nephew Preston Senkbeil.

She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Michael Robledo, brothers, Shane and Nicholas Owen, her son, John Brant Riffe, her daughter, Deidre Grayson; her grandchildren, Ashley and Samantha Owen, John Tyler and Juliette Riffe, Hunter, Jayden, and Paige Grayson, Brynn DesRosiers, and great-granddaughter, Willow Everhart-Riffe; she is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Celeste had a passion for sports and was an avid football enthusiast. She enjoyed spending time cheering for her favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys! She was late to the technology world and when she got a smartphone four years ago, she discovered her favorite game, 'Dice with Buddies'. She made several friends around the world while managing a family group within the game. She was known for her kind and compassionate nature, was a great listener, and always offered wise advice to family, friends, and strangers alike.

Celeste treasured every moment spent with her loved ones. Her presence will be deeply missed.

A graveside service to celebrate Celeste's life will be held at St. John Lutheran Cemetery on September 6, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. Friends and family are invited to join in this final farewell to honor and remember the beautiful soul that was Celeste Owen Robledo.
