It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Chris Evan Hughes, a beloved father, devoted son, and cherished friend, who left this world on December 1, 2025, at the age of 54. Born on December 19, 1970, in Dallas, Texas, Chris lived a life filled with joy, laughter, and love.

For 25 years, Chris dedicated his professional life as a Warehouse Manager at MEI in Grapevine, He was a friend to everyone he met, and those who knew him will remember his infectious laughter and the warmth he brought to every gathering.

Chris was a member of the Church of Christ and thoroughly enjoyed his time as an active participant in the Harley-Davidson Riding Club, where he formed lasting friendships through his passion for riding.

He is survived by his daughter Trista Hughes, step-son Trevan Weason; mother, Barbara Hughes; father, Joe Hughes; brothers Doyle Hughes and David Hughes; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and other family members.
