Clinton Joseph Lyssy Sr, of Jourdanton passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2024. He was born in San Antonio on July 23, 1947, to George and Helen (Pieniazek) Lyssy.

Clinton is survived by his sons, Clinton Lyssy Jr, Clifford Lyssy and wife Amber; and grandchildren, Nathon Gonzalez, Eyan Clark, Kaymber Lane, Richard Lane, Cristian-Vegas Lyssy, Jayleigh Lyssy, Cyrek Lyssy, and Clayton Joseph James Lyssy. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren, Damar Gonzalez, Clementine Clark, and Penelope Clark, and numerous cousins and friends.

Clinton was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Lou Jannise, and mother of his children, Janet Lyssy.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Hurley Funeral Home, starting at 6:00 pm, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 6, 2025, at Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Saint Hedwig, at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cemetery.
