Daniel Pedro Gomez journey began October 10, 1972, came to a peacefully end on Tuesday, July 29, 2025.  During his time among us, this remarkable individual brought light, laughter, and warmth to friends, family, and all who crossed his path.

Daniel loved to collect comic books, puzzles and other collectibles.  Among his hobbies, he played video games, and enjoyed attending Comic-Con. His unwavering generosity and spirit of encouragement made the world a better place.

He is survived by his Mother Cecilia Gomez; Sister Felicia Gomez Mendoza and husband Frank; Brothers Ben Gomez and wife Edna, Jay Gomez and wife Veronica, and David Gomez.

Daniel was preceded in death by his Father Ruben Richard Gomez; Brothers Ruben Richard Gomez, Jr. and Jesus "Charlie" Gomez and  Nephew Ruben Richard Gomez, III.

Services are scheduled for Tuesday, August 5, 2025, starting with a visitation at Hurley Funeral Home from 9:00 am until 10:30 am, followed by a procession to St. Matthew Catholic Church for a rosary at 11:00 am and a celebration of mass at 11:30 am.  Burial will occur at Gomez Cemetery.
