It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Daniel Ramos Sambrano Jr. Daniel, 34, a loving son, brother, father, and friend, was tragically taken on Monday, November 6, 2023. He was born in Galveston on September 15, 1989, to Daniel Ramos Sambrano, Sr. and Guadalupe Garcia Sambrano.

Described by those who knew him closest as a very humble and giving person, Daniel had a genuine love for his family and friends. He was a good father, always striving to provide the best for his children in the best way he knew how.

Daniel, a proud and hardworking individual, showed immense dedication and talent as a tattoo artist. With his creative spirit and skillful hands, he transformed the art of tattooing into masterpieces on the skin. Employed in the industry for many years, Daniel excelled professionally for the last 2, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of being tattooed by him. Daniel's passion for his craft was undeniable, and he was grateful to have reached his goal of becoming a successful tattoo artist.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jesus Estrada Garcia and Basilia Aguero Garcia; paternal grandparents, Encarnacion Sambrano and Jesusa Ramos Sambrano; siblings, Rose Marie Sambrano, Allison Ann Sambrano, Domingo Sambrano and Maria Guadalupe Sambrano; aunts, Mary Granado and Basilia Carrasco; and uncle, Rudy Garcia.

Daniel is survived by his children, Romeo Jesus Sambrano, Rosemary Guadalupe Sambrano, Daniel Ramos Sambrano III, Catalina Andrio, Miguel Andrio, and Xavier Andrio; mother, Guadalupe Garcia Sambrano; father, Daniel Ramos Sambrano, Sr. (Daisy Sambrano); brothers, Adam Sambrano and Rodolfo Luna; sisters, Andrea Garcia Tellez (Jose Tellez, Jr.), Suzi Sambrano and Amanda Sambrano; niece, Maria Guadalupe Aguilar; aunt, Sabas Flores; uncles, Jimmy Garcia, Gumecindo Garcia and Daniel Garcia; along with numerous extended family and friends.

A visitation is scheduled for Saturday, November 11, 2023, in the Hurley Funeral Home chapel, starting at 9:00 am until 11:00 am, with a funeral service at 11:00 am. Service will conclude at the funeral home.
