It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David A. Delgado, who left us peacefully on June 8, 2025, at the age of 60. Born on June 19, 1964, in San Antonio, Texas, David lived a life filled with love, laughter, and creativity. He spent the last years of his life in Pleasanton, Texas, surrounded by family and friends who cherished him deeply.

David worked for Freeman as a graphic designer until his retirement after more than 37 years of exemplary service. A creative spirit, he brought his unique vision to countless projects, leaving a lasting impact on those who had the pleasure of working alongside him.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Janice Delgado; his mother, Marie Delgado; his daughter, Sydney Adel Delgado, and her fiancé, James Tyler Popham; his son, Derek Ray Delgado, and his wife, Mallory; his brother, Anthony Delgado; and his sister, Cynthia Reyes, along with her husband, Robert, and numerous nieces and nephews. David was preceded in death by his father, Gilbert Delgado, and his brother, Efren Delgado.

David was known for his great sense of humor and his ability to brighten the lives of others. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was always willing to lend a helping hand, earning him the reputation of a loyal friend. David was a loving father who supported his children in all of their goals in life, and he was also a loving and devoted husband.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at 11:00 AM, rosary at 11:30 AM, followed by mass at 12:00 PM at St. Margaret Mary Catholic at 1314 Fair Ave. San Antonio, TX 78223 (All flowers will need to go directly to the church - Hurley Funeral Home will NOT be involved in his services - Thank you)
