Deanna Ray Caballero, a devoted homemaker, and beloved member of the Pleasanton community, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2023. Born on November 7, 1967, in Jourdanton, Texas, Deanna was the loving daughter of Helen Cerda and the late Santos Caballero.

Deanna led a life filled with love and devotion to her family. She cherished the time she spent with her children and took great joy in watching her family grow. Deanna's radiant smile and warm personality touched the lives of those who knew her. Known for her kind and compassionate nature, she was always there to lend a helping hand, offering support and comfort to friends and loved ones.

Raised in a close-knit household, Deanna learned the importance of family from an early age. This value remained at the core of her heart, and she dedicated her life to creating a loving and nurturing home for her loved ones.

She is survived by her son, Cody Caballero (Katlyn Lambert); daughter, Jennifer Garcia; mother, Helen Cerda; brothers, Santos Caballero (Renee), David Caballero (Betty), and Eric Cerda (Stacy); sister, Frances Cerda; grandchildren, Isaiah, Isaac, Averi, Ivan, Aubri, Cody Jr., Cash, Cayson, and Ian; nieces and nephews, David Ray, Kory, Noah, Miranda, Joseph, and Khloe; along with numerous aunts, uncles, and other relatives.

Deanna will be remembered for her vibrant spirit and infectious laughter. Her love and loyalty touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her welcoming nature and genuine interest in others made her the heart of family gatherings, where laughter filled the air. She was a pillar of strength and support, always offering a listening ear and a comforting presence.

Pallbearers will be David Caballero, Santos Caballero Jr.,  Eric Cerda, Albert Caballero, Roger Garcia, and Isaac Castillo; with Isaiah and Isaac Delgado serving as honorarys.
