Deanna Virginia Fulton Skinner was born on April 13, 1938.  She went home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 6, 2024 at the age of 86.  She is joined in heaven by her husband, Rev. Elton Maurice Skinner, Jr. and her parents, Robert and Winne Fulton.  She is survived by her daughters, Janet Richardson, and husband Jimmy, and Sarah Rea, and by her grandson, Jordan Richardson.

Deanna's faith in Jesus guided her actions and words.  She ministered alongside her husband until his death in 1971, and continued to share her testimony until her death.

Deanna was a secretary at First Baptist Church, Corsicana, Texas, for over 25 years, raising two daughters by herself.  After retiring she made her home in Pleasanton where she was active in First Baptist Church.  She enjoyed surrounding her porch with plants and flowers; she had a true green thumb.  She treasured time with her friends and family, and they treasured her. She was a kind soul with a great sense of humor.

A graveside memorial service will be held at Dawson Cemetery, located at 398 N. 3rd street, Dawson, Texas, on Friday, June 14, 2024 at 11:00 am.
