Delma
Alvarez
Nov 24, 1963 — Dec 23, 2024
Pleasanton
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Delma Alvarez, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world on Monday, December 23, 2024, at the age of 61. Delma was born on November 24, 1963, to Benito Perez Carrasco and Angelina Ramos Carrasco. Delma had an appetite for life, and her vibrant spirit and unwavering kindness left a lasting mark on those fortunate enough to know her.
Delma was a strong, loving, and supportive figure, often described by those around her as selfless, kind, and beautiful. Her unique personality was displayed through her love of life, particularly her passion for playing Bingo. She was known to bring her cherished elephants to the games, proclaiming they would bring her luck — though they often did not. Nevertheless, her positive demeanor and infectious laughter brought joy to countless people.
Delma loved to travel and explore new places, always eager for the next adventure. She delighted in cooking for her loved ones, at times adding a touch too much salt, but always serving with love. She had an extraordinary ability to make everyone feel like family, embodying the role of 'mother to all.' Delma was truly one of a kind.
Delma is survived by her beloved daughter, Amanda Alvarez (Jeffrey Rodriguez); son, Jonathan Reyna; brothers, Benito Carrasco Jr. (Carrie), Eddie Carrasco (Theresa), Orlando Carrasco (Jennifer), Alex Carrasco (Laura); grandchildren, Mason Jeffrey Rodriguez, Matthew Brayden Rodriguez, Madison Nicole Rodriguez and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
Delma was preceded in death by her husband, Ildifonso Roque Alvarez, and parents, Benito and Angelina Carrasco.Top of Form
