Poteet
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Diana Alcoser Martinez, who left this world on October 1, 2025. Born on July 17, 1956, in Pleasanton, Texas, Diana was the cherished daughter of Marcelino Alcoser and Librada Montemayor Alcoser, both of whom preceded her in death, along with her husband, Louis Martinez Jr., and her brother-in-law, Ricardo Ruiz.
Diana is lovingly survived by her devoted son, Louis Martinez III, and his spouse, Kortney Brysch, alongside Kortney's daughter, Emelia. She also leaves behind her brother, Ricardo Alcoser, and his wife, Patty; her sisters, Maria Dolores Martinez and her husband Tony, Raquel Ruiz, and Irma Medina and her husband Mark Sr.; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and countless friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Throughout her life, Diana was known for her radiant smile, infectious laughter, and her love for the little moments that brought joy. She adored watching novellas, traveling, and capturing life's precious memories through photography. A passionate dancer at heart, she approached life with an outgoing spirit, always eager to connect with others on Facebook. Those who knew her admired her kind-hearted nature and her unwavering positivity, traits that touched the lives of many and left an indelible mark on their hearts.
A visitation will be held on October 20, 2025 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary to begin at 7:00 pm at Hurley Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held on October 21, 2025 at 11:00 am at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church followed by interment at 1:30 at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery where she will be reunited with her husband.
In this time of remembrance, we invite all whose lives were touched by Diana to join us in honoring her legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering spirit. Her light will continue to shine brightly in our hearts.
