Eduardo "Eddie, Guero" Allen Gonzalez, Jr. Passed away peacefully in his home on Thursday, March 9, 2023, at the age of 49. He was born on July 12, 1973, in San Antonio, Tx to Eduardo Gonzalez, Sr. and Brenda (Baskerville) Gonzalez.

Eduardo served as a volunteer Firefighter for Pleasanton and Jourdanton for numerous years, then finished his career as an H2S technician with SeCorp Industries for 10 years.

Eduardo is survived by his wife of 8 years, Paula Castillo, father, Eduardo Gonzalez and wife JoAnn Gonzalez, sister, Deanna Gonzalez and brother, Benjamin Gonzalez. His sons, Mark Anthony Gonzalez, Alexander Jayson Castillo, John Michael Castillo and Daniel Luke Gonzalez. His daughters, Kaitlyn Nicole Gonzalez  and husband Jose Uviedo and Yelena Gutierrez-Gonzalez. His grandson, Noah Anthony Uviedo and granddaughter, Salem Rose Uviedo.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Brenda (Baskerville) Gonzalez and brother, Christopher David Gonzalez.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 from 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Hurley Funeral Home, Pleasanton.
