With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Elisa E. Van Nortwick, 88, of Pleasanton, Texas who passed away peacefully on August 24, 2026. Elisa was born in Pleasanton on July 2, 1938. 

She is survived by her children Cindy K. Evans of Jourdanton, Texas, and Debbie S. Bucharski and husband Lenny of Magnolia, Texas, granddaughter Heather Ann Bucharski, sister Carmen Quintanilla and husband Emillio, and several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents Jesus M. Garza and Mary Garza, sister Anita Garza, and brothers Raymond Garza, Joe Garza and Jesse Garza. 

A private family service will be held for Elisa.
