It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Elizabeth Peña, age 53, who went home to be with the Lord on February 9, 2026, surrounded by her loving husband and children. Elizabeth was born on April 17, 1972.

Elizabeth was known for her tremendous baking and her incredible eye for decorating. Whether it was party décor, home décor, or holiday celebrations, she was always the one to go to. She had the biggest, most loving heart—someone you couldn't help but fall in love with because of the beautiful person she was. She was the BEST wife, mom and grandmother anyone could have asked for. Elizabeth also gave the best advice and always knew exactly what to say.

From a young age, Elizabeth learned how to fight, and she fought with strength and courage all the way to the end.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her grandparents, Eluid and Teodora Sierra, and her granddaughter, Isadora Peña.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Arturo Peña; her children Arturo Peña Jr. (Briana), Yesenia Rodriguez (Joseph), Gabriel Peña, Israel Peña (Bobbie), Maricella Mares (Richard), Alma Patlan (Joe), Adriana Guerra (Michael), and Liliana Padilla (Joseph); and her 26 grandchildren, whom she loved with all her heart. She is also survived by her in-laws, Jesse and Dorothy Peña.

All services will be at Hurley Funeral Home on Monday, February 16th, 2026 begining with a time for visitation from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., funeral service from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00p.m., and then we will process to cemetery for a commital service at San Pedro Cemetery per her wishes at sunset.
