It is with great love and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Eloisa (Garcia) Guzman (81). She passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2023, in San Antonio, Tx. Eloisa was born on Wednesday, May 8, 1941, to Isabel Garcia and Victoria (Leal) Garcia.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Isabel and Victoria Garcia; brothers Margarito Garcia, Richard Garcia, Freddie Garcia, Willie Garcia and sister Paula Capp.

Eloisa is survived by her loving husband of 64 years Jose M. Guzman; children, Norma Cantu (Johnny), Sylvia Solis (Daniel), Joe Guzman (Anna), Gilbert Guzman (Velma Herrera); brother Isabel Garcia Jr.; sister Julia Greigo; 9 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and extended family and friends.

A visitation service will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2023 from 3:00 -9:00 pm with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm at Hurley Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023 at 11:00 am at St. Andrew Catholic Church with interment to follow at San Jose Cemetery; Jourdanton, Tx.
