Emer Wesley "Dub" Billings III, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at the age of 79. Born to Emer Wesley Billings, Jr. and Mary (Muter) Billings on April 3, 1944, in Del Rio, Texas.

Dub was a cherished husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He found great pleasure fishing and sharing his love for fishing with others. Family always held a special place in Dub's heart. The love he had for his family extended beyond blood ties - he was always ready to lend a helping hand and take care of anyone who needed it.

Dub was preceded in death by his parents; son, Carl Buck Billings; and granddaughter, Jessica Mireles.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Harriet Estell Calhoun Billings; daughter, Rana Billings Camargo and husband Gene Camargo; granddaughter, Brittany Compton and husband Jeremie Compton; grandson, Shane Blaze Billings and wife Chelsea Billings; great-granddaughter, Adalyn Quinn Billings; and his beloved dog Reba.

Services will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2024, starting with a visitation at 9:30 am followed by a funeral service at 10:30 am in the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel in Pleasanton, burial will follow at Pleasanton City Cemetery.
