Eric A. Teran, 31, Pleasanton, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2023 after a battle with cancer.  He was born on August 26, 1991 in San Antonio to Emeterio H. Teran and Debra A. Teran.  Eric was a character; he loved to eat and spend time with his family.  He was a sweet person that loved in a big way.  He enjoyed basketball and was a Lakers fan, his friends even gave him the nickname Kobe. He was an amazing uncle and always desired to spend time with his brothers.  Erics' life here on earth was cut too short, but the time he was here, he left his mark on many people's hearts.

Eric is preceded in death by his father Emeterio Hernandez Teran; maternal grandfather Manuel Arguijo Jr.; and cousin Alexandra Galvan.  He is survived by his mother Debra Teran; brothers Alvaro (Amanda), Eros (Barbara), Ramiro, and Raul Teran; nephews Luke and Preston, and Watson Teran; nieces Kinsley, Macy, and Ailuiana Teran; numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel, from 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm, with a reciting of the rosary at 7:00 pm.  A celebration of mass will be Thursday, March 9, 2023, at St. Andrew Catholic Church starting at 10:00 am.  Interment will follow at Pleasanton City Cemetery.
