With heartfelt sadness, we announce the passing of Erminia Tijerina Jimenez, who entered eternal rest on October 24, 2026, in San Antonio at the age of 91. She was born on November 26, 1934, in Charlotte, Texas.

Erminia was a loving, hardworking, and caring woman who took great pride in everything she did. She dedicated many years of her life working at a nursing home, where her love for cooking and caring for others shone through. She had a nurturing heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand, especially when someone was ill or in need of care. Her kindness and compassion were simply part of who she was.

Erminia was a woman who enjoyed staying busy and keeping everything in its place. She loved cooking, cleaning, taking walks, cutting grass, and tending to her beautiful flowers. In her quieter moments, she enjoyed knitting and sewing. She also took great pride in her appearance. Yellow was her favorite color, and she loved wearing her makeup and making sure she always looked her very best. She was a woman who believed in looking good, feeling good, and staying active.

Above all, Erminia will be remembered for her caring nature, her strong work ethic, and the love she shared with those around her. Her thoughtful gestures, helping hands, and the simple joys she found in everyday life will forever remain treasured memories in the hearts of her loved ones.

Erminia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Juan Jimenez; her sons, Bonifacio Jimenez, Miguel Jimenez; and her father, Nemencio Tijerena, Sr.

She is survived by her sons, Eddie Jimenez, Daniel Ballesteros (Tonie), and Sean Jimenez; her daughters, Rebecca Jimenez, Christina Jimenez, and Abigail Jimenez; along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.

No funeral services are scheduled at this time.

Erminia's legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to others will continue to live on through the many lives she touched. Though she will be deeply missed, her family will forever hold close the beautiful memories and unconditional love she leaves behind.
