Ernestine Espinosa Blevins passed away in San Antonio on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at the age of 75.  She was born on January 10, 1949, in Leming to Dolores Espinosa and Gabriela (Sanchez) Espinosa.

Ernestine was known for her love, devotion, and dedication of family, often stating that family was her number one priority.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles William Blevins; son, Michael Anthony Blevins; and sisters, Lucy High and Erlinda Garcia.

Ernestine is survived by her son, Thomas Charles Blevins (Gracie); grandchildren, Michael Blevins, Jr. (Allison), Jade Morales, Nicholas Blevins, Stephanie Blevins, Kimberly Blevins, Katelynn Blevins, Jessica Blevins, Brandon Blevins, Kevynn Blevins, Dillion Blevins and Khayli Blevins;11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Carlos Chavez (Josie); sisters, Alice Vaughn (Marshall), Carol Criado (Felipe) and Irma Gomez (Albert); and brothers-in-law, Abelardo Garcia and Roger High.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2024, starting at 4:00 PM followed by a funeral service at 6:00 PM, at Hurley Funeral Home. A private interment will be held in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
