Estelina Rangel Becerra passed away peacefully in Jourdanton, surrounded by her family, on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at the age of 72.  She was born in Tahoka on January 22, 1953, to Labo Rangel and Refugia (De La O) Rangel.

Estelina was a true force of nature—extremely hardworking and undeniably talented. If you knew her, you knew her kitchen was a sacred place. She was a beloved cook who worked at numerous places around the county, where she gained a reputation for her amazing culinary talents. Her amazing meals were synonymous with love, and she cherished every moment spent feeding others, ensuring that no one left hungry.

Estelina's selflessness extended far beyond her cooking. A dedicated nurse's aide for many years, she possessed a special love for caring for others that touched countless lives. Whether she was tending to a patient or nurturing her beautiful garden, her kindness and strength radiated. She was blunt, but it was all part of her genuine charm—what you saw was what you got.

Estelina was preceded in death by her son, Phillip Anthony Camarillo; parents, Labo Rangel and Refugia De La O; brothers, Refugio Sepulveda and Juan Rangel; and sister, Delores Torres.

She is survived by her life partner, Senen Becerra; children, Jesse Camarillo (Shawn), Julie Camarillo Delgado (Rene Garza) and Mark Camarillo; grandchildren, Kanita Steadmon, Timothy Steadmon (Brenda), Eric Ivey (Brooke), Jessica Holgate (Trevell), Cherish Camarillo, Ashley Delgado (Blas Delgado), Esperanza Delgado (Joe Estrada), Adan Jose Delgado II, Michael Garza, Mark Anthony Camarillo (Katie), Felisha Camarillo, Shelby Camarillo, Neco Camarillo (Andrea) and Zander Camarillo; and 25 great-grandchildren.

Services are scheduled for Friday, May 16, 2025, at Hurley Funeral Home, starting with a visitation at 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm with a celebration of life service at 7:00 pm.  On Saturday, May 17, 2025, the family will be having a short visitation at Hurley Funeral Home, from 10:00 am until 10:30 am, then together we'll process to Charlotte Community Cemetery for a graveside service starting at 11:00 am.
