La Sra. Evangelina Villa Díaz de Sánchez, de 68 años de edad, partió a la presencia del Señor el 17 de enero de 2026.

Sobrevive su amado esposo, José Miguel Sánchez, Sr., y sus hijos: Azucena Alvarado Villa "Susy", Sayda Gabriella Alvarado Villa "Gaby", Ricardo Daniel Villa "Dany", José Alvarado Villa "Chino", Claudia Patricia Alvarado "Paty", Michael Arellano, José Miguel Sánchez, Jr. "Lito", Guadalupe Sánchez "Lupita" y Mary Jane Sánchez De Santos. Asimismo, le sobreviven numerosos hermanos y hermanas, sus queridos nietos Ana, Andrea, Jorge, Benjamín, Allison, Reina, Dante, Abraham Alexander, Timothy, Tabitha, Makayla, Vicente, Beyatriz, Christian y Annali, y sus amados bisnietos Lydia y Axel.

La Sra. Villa Díaz de Sánchez, cariñosamente conocida como Vange, Jefita de todos, fue una orgullosa esposa, madre, hija, hermana, cuñada, tía, prima y amiga para todos quienes tuvieron el privilegio de conocerla. Fue ampliamente reconocida por su exquisito sazón, su amor por la jardinería, su sentido del humor y su inquebrantable entrega a su familia. Su calidez, fortaleza y risa contagiosa permanecerán por siempre en el corazón de quienes compartieron su vida.

La velación se llevará a cabo el viernes 23 de enero, de 3:00 p.m. a 9:00 p.m., con el rezo del Santo Rosario a las 7:00 p.m., en la Funeraria Hurley, ubicada en 118 W. Oaklawn Rd., Pleasanton, TX 78064.

La Santa Misa de cuerpo presente se celebrará el sábado 24 de enero, a las 12:00 p.m. en la Iglesia Católica San Andrés, ubicada en 626 Market St., Pleasanton, Texas.

Posteriormente, se realizará el cortejo fúnebre al Cementerio Saint Joseph, localizado en 218 FM 536, Pleasanton, TX 78064.

Al término del entierro, se ofrecerá un convivio en la Primera Iglesia Bautista, ubicada en 400 N. Reed St., Pleasanton, TX 78064.

She is survived by her beloved husband, José Miguel Sánchez, Sr., and her children: Azucena Alvarado Villa "Susy", Sayda Gabriella Alvarado Villa "Gaby", Ricardo Daniel Villa "Dany", José Alvarado Villa "Chino", Claudia Patricia Alvarado "Paty", Michael Arellano, José Miguel Sánchez, Jr. "Lito", Guadalupe Sánchez "Lupita", and Mary Jane Sánchez De Santos. She is also survived by numerous brothers and sisters, her beloved grandchildren Ana, Andrea, Jorge, Benjamín, Allison, Reina, Dante, Abraham Alexander, Timothy, Tabitha, Makayla, Vicente, Beyatriz, Christian, and Annali, and her beloved great-grandchildren Lydia and Axel.

Mrs. Villa Díaz de Sánchez, affectionately known as Vange, the matriarch of the family, was a proud wife, mother, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, and friend to all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was widely known for her exquisite cooking, her love of gardening, her sense of humor, and her unwavering devotion to her family. Her warmth, strength, and contagious laughter will forever remain in the hearts of those who shared her life.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 23, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Hurley Funeral Home, located at 118 W. Oaklawn Rd., Pleasanton, TX 78064.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 24, at 12:00 p.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church, located at 626 Market St., Pleasanton, Texas. The funeral procession will then proceed to Saint Joseph Cemetery, located at 218 FM 536, Pleasanton, TX 78064.

Following the burial, a reception will be held at First Baptist Church, located at 400 N. Reed St., Pleasanton, TX 78064.
