Obituary

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Felix Sisnero Sr., a beloved father, friend, and outdoorsman, who departed this life on January 17, 2026, at the age of 81. Born on April 15, 1944, in Poteet, Texas, Felix lived a life rich with love, laughter, and adventure. He was truly a man of the land, whose heart thrived in the great outdoors.

Felix's love for nature was evident in his enthusiasm for hunting and passion for fishing of all kinds, especially along the Texas coast. He found joy in barbecuing, often gathering family and friends together to share hearty meals filled with stories and laughter.  In addition to spending time with his family, he also looked forward to going to the casino with his brother and friends. Felix worked as a Labor Foreman at CECO Construction, where he proudly contributed to significant projects, including the memorable construction of the Alamo Dome.

Felix is survived by his children, Sandra Valle (Michael), Gloria Jean Fuentes (John), Felix Sisnero Jr. (Claudia), Carlos Sisnero (Alicia), and Tara Sisnero; brother Jessie Sisnero (Lucy); sister Beatrice Santillan (Robert); grandchildren Jillian, Gina, Laura, Sarah, Sierra, Austin, Gabriel, Sarah Mae, Ethan, Devyn, and Myah;  He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
