Frances and Charlie loved to go dancing every month at Martinez Hall with a group of their friends and would waltz and polka to every song. They owned Charlie's Drive Inn on Bensdale St. for many years where Frances ran the store and also sold Kirby vacuum cleaners and jewelry on the side.
Frances was a lifelong member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church where she played the organ for Mass and was very active in all the church activities and organizing and running the bingo for the picnic each year. She was a long-time member of the Pleasanton Women's Hobby Club and enjoyed their activities, especially making quilts.
