Francis "Bijah"
Fowler
Oct 22, 1974 — May 29, 2023
Pleasanton
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of a remarkable man, Francis "Bijah" Fowler. He joined his Lord and Savior on May 29, 2023, in Pleasanton, Texas. Born on October 22, 1974, in Alpine, Texas, Bijah was known for his intelligence, determination, and unwavering loyalty as a friend. Despite only being 17, he earned his Pilot's license and served as a pilot for 25 years.
Bijah was a devoted family man and cherished his relationships with friends and church community. During a recent journey to Israel with Cowboy Fellowship Church, he experienced a life-changing moment when he was baptized in the Jordan River. Bijah was a true cowboy, brave and adventurous, excelling in bronc riding and dirt track racing. Above all, he was a humble man with a profound love for God and his fellow beings.
His wife, Teresa Fowler, along with stepchildren, Katie Rudloff and Calvin Culpepper, brothers, Cody Fowler and wife Albina and Colt Fowler, 8 step-grandchildren, and a vast circle of friends, cousins, and extended family deeply mourn Bijah's passing.
He joins his parents, William James Fowler and Martha Banks Fowler, and his only sister, Jamie Shannon Fowler, in eternal rest. Although his loss is profound, we will cherish Bijah's memory forever.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at Cowboy Fellowship Church in Jourdanton, TX.
