Frank Briones of Poteet passed away peacefully in San Antonio on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at the age of 57. He was b orn in Jourdanton on August 19, 1967 to Gregorio and Rosa (Perez) Briones.

He is survived by his son, Gregory A. Briones; daughter, Ana Alyssa Briones; sisters, Mary Briones, Rozy Kennedy and husband Jeff Yoast, Ofelia Briones, and Ana Briones; and brothers, Luis Briones, Ruben Briones and wife Dora Anne, and Roger Briones and wife Ling.

Frank was preceded by his parents, Gregorio and Rosa (Perez) Briones.

His services are scheduled for Saturday, August 2, 2025, at St. Phillip Benizi Catholic Church in Poteet. The visitation will begin at 9:00 AM, rosary will be recited at 9:30 AM and the mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Briones Family Cemetery on Briones Road in Poteet.
