Gary Richard Eichman

September 28, 1944 - November 15, 2025

Gary Richard Eichman passed away in San Antonio, Texas, on November 15, 2025, at the age of 81.

Gary was born to Willard (Bub) and Nora Jane Keys Eichman on September 28, 1944.

He was raised on the Eichman Farm and Ranch west of Poteet, Texas. With hard work and good times, Gary never met a stranger.  He worked for Troell Chevrolet, Dowell Oil Field Service Company, and Eichman Antiques for over 38 years and enjoyed every minute of it.

Gary was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Nancy Eichman; and brothers, Don Wesley and Chester Wayne. Gary is survived by his children, Charles Louis Eichman (Debbie Akers) and Rhonda Eichman Hahn (Jeff Hahn); nephew, Bruce Eichman and wife Melanie; grand-nephew, Christian Eichman; granddaughter, Katelyn Hahn Ripple and husband Justin Ripple; grandson, Matthew Hahn and wife Alyce Hahn; and great-grandchild, Braden Edward Hahn.

When Gary married Nancy, he was welcomed into their family, which he called his own.  He is survived by Mike Blankenship, Lisa Maddox and husband Jay, granddaughter, James Maddox and wife Hanna, Jered Maddox and wife …great-grandchildren Braden Hahn, Molly Maddox, Emma Maddox, Paige Maddox, Jessie Maddox, and Judd Maddox.

He will always be grateful for the wonderful times spent together as a family, not only through family celebrations but also by having a wonderful family with whom to share life.  Gary cherished those moments.
