We are saddened to announce the passing of Gary Scott Mann of Pleasanton, Texas.

Gary passed away on October 4, 2023, at the age of 55. He was born on April 3, 1968, to Alfred and Frances Mann in Jourdanton.

Gary was a son, brother, uncle, and friend to many. The biggest joy in his life was his two great-nephews. Although Gary never had any children of his own he loved and adored Wyatt and Tanner as if they were his own. Gary was a kind and generous man and he will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Gary is part owner of Blackstone Systems in the Oil and Gas Industry. In his free time, Gary enjoyed teaching Wyatt and Tanner how to fish and hunt and hit the beach as much as they could.

He is preceded in death by his father, Alfred Mann; grandfather, Roy Lamb, grandmother, Philomena Lamb, grandfather Alfred H. Mann grandmother Anna Mann, uncles Bill Lamb and Franklin Lamb.

Gary is survived by his mother, Frances Mann; brother, Jeffery Mann; nieces, Megan Mann and Darian Page; nephew, Colton Mann, and great-nephews, Wyatt Mays and Tanner Mays.

Services will be Thursday, October 12, 2023, with a visitation starting at 8 am-10 am, Funeral Service to follow at 10 am at Hurley Funeral Home Chapel 118 West Oaklawn Pleasanton. Interment to follow at Jourdanton City Cemetery 305 Waltom Ave, Jourdanton.
