Gertraud "Trudy" Margaret Kuehbauch Habeeb

November 04, 1936 – November 10, 2023

Trudy Habeeb was rejuvenated on November 10, 2023, in Bigfoot, Texas at the age of 87, born on November 4, 1936, in Augsburg Germany. She was the eldest of 4 children born to Emil and Hedwig Kuehbauch.

Trudy was a World War II survivor of intensive allied bombings for years and later the occupation of her country. In post war Germany she survived famine, homelessness, and the fear of retribution of the general citizenry. Later she was able to return to school and complete her education.

She moved to the United States in the early sixties when her ex-husband (Raf Habeeb) was reassigned stateside by the US Army. She managed Menger's in North Star Mall for almost 20 years. She retired from being a Fashion Stylist to spend time with her family and to travel. Her passions were dance music from the 50's and 60's, including Blues and one of her favorites Stevie Ray Vaughan. She was excellent swimmer and fantastic seamstress. She was preceded in death by her younger sister Evi Kuehbauch and younger brother Manfred Kuehbauch.

She is survived by her children; Safia Gollard, Haroun Habeeb and Refad Habeeb; her grandchildren Laela Mason, Atalaya Figueroa, Krystle Mason, Ricky Gollrad and Yasmine Habeeb; her great grandsons Ahlias Mason, Carter Mason and Makai Mason; her younger sister Herta; her son-in law Richard Gollard, daughter-in-law Marisa Habeeb and Jenny Habeeb.

A memorial reception will be held 11:00 am Friday November 17, 2023 at Hurley Funeral Home at 118 W Oaklawn Rd, Pleasanton, TX 78064
