A hard worker at heart, Gilbert pursued his education in IT Tech, demonstrating a dedication to self-improvement and a strong work ethic that inspired those around him. Even when faced with personal challenges, he selflessly prioritized the well-being of others, always extending his kindness and support to family and friends, regardless of the circumstances. His humor and light-hearted spirit transformed dark moments into opportunities for laughter and joy, a testament to his enduring positive outlook on life.
Gilbert found immense joy in spending time with his family. He adored his children and cherished his grandchildren, whose accomplishments he enthusiastically supported at school and during family activities. Whether cheering from the sidelines or braving the roller coasters at Six Flags against his better judgment, Gilbert's presence radiated love and encouragement, creating lasting memories filled with laughter. He will always be remembered as the 49ers #1 fan, also proudly wearing their jersey and yelling at the TV during games.
Gilbert is survived by his wife, Venus Luna, and his father, Louis Rodriguez Sr.; children Gilbert Jr., Tatyana, Madysen, and Ashlee Rodriguez; brothers Louis Jr and Larry Rodriguez; grandchildren Edward, Messiah, Dustyn, Jaysen, Jenesis, and Jasyle.
As we remember Gilbert, we acknowledge the simple yet profound impact he had on all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His compassion, honesty, and fighting spirit will forever resonate with us, inspiring us to carry his light into our own lives.
